NSW Bill passed under the cover of night

Under the cover of night, NSW Labor, the Greens and independent Alex Greenwich teamed up to pass the controversial ‘Conversion Practices Ban Bill’ in NSW.

They rammed it through while you and I were sleeping, while many parliamentarians had gone home for the night.

They rejected public scrutiny and consultation.

They rejected the piles of evidence that proves issuing puberty blockers and cross sex hormones to minors is irreversibly and catastrophically harmful.

They conflated sex and gender identity. Sex relies on biology while gender identity denies biology.

They disregarded the voice of detransitioners and victims of the transgender industry who have been deeply harmed by this insidious ideology.

They will never have to give an account for the incredible damage this bill paves the way for.

It is incredibly disturbing and frustrating.

Special acknowledgement must go to John Ruddick (Libertarians), Damien Tudehope (Liberal), Mark Latham (independent), Tania Mihailuk (One Nation), Robert Borsak and Mark Banasiak (Shooters Fishers and Farmers).
