Midsumma at the Library: Midsumma Storytime

Register

If you love a story, you’ve come to the right place! To celebrate Midsumma, we’re adding rainbow flair to our regularly programmed Storytime.

Join us every Monday and Wednesday in late January as LGBTQIA+ authors, performers and community members share their favourite stories – and join in to sing some rainbow-themed songs and rhymes.

The special guests who will be taking over our regular Storytime sessions as part of Midsumma include:

  • Dancer-choreographer Raina Peterson on Monday 22 January, 10.30 - 11.00am
  • Magician Em Chandler on Wednesday 24 January, 10.30 - 11.00am
  • Writer Jasper Peach on Monday 29 January, 10.30 - 11.00am
  • Drag artist Dandrogyny on Wednesday 31 January, 10.30 - 11.00am

Perfect for kids aged 0-8. All Storytime sessions will be Auslan interpreted.

Book your spot now.

Presented by Midsumma Festival and State Library Victoria and supported by Rainbow Families.
