Asylum and migration pact: press briefing by lead MEPs on Tuesday at 13.00
EP Plenary will debate and vote on the Asylum and Migration Pact on Wednesday 10 April. Ahead of the vote, the eight leading MEPs will brief journalists about the reform.
When: Tuesday, 9 April 2024, 13.00-14.00 CET
Where: Anna Politkovskaya press conference room (SPAAK 0A50), European Parliament, Brussels, and via interactio.
From 13:00 to 13:30:
- Fabienne KELLER (Renew, France), rapporteur for the Asylum procedure regulation;
- Matjaž NEMEC (S&D, Slovenia), rapporteur for the Qualification regulation;
- Sophia IN 'T VELD (Renew, Netherlands), rapporteur for the Reception conditions directive;
- Jorge BUXADÉ (ECR, Spain), rapporteur for Eurodac.
From 13:30 to 14:00:
- Tomas TOBÉ (EPP, Sweden), rapporteur for the Asylum and migration management regulation;
- Juan Fernando LÓPEZ AGUILAR (S&D, Spain), rapporteur for the Crisis and force majeure regulation;
- Birgit SIPPEL (S&D, Germany), rapporteur for the Screening regulation ;
- Malin BJÖRK (The Left, Sweden), rapporteur for the Union resettlement framework.
