Details coming soon for Forum on the Family 2024, but save this date – July 5th is our annual Forum on the Family. Last year the forum sold out, and this year will be the same. We’ve also got a special Gala Dinner on the evening of July 4th.

Not to be missed – the 15th annual New Zealand Forum on the Family is bringing together some exceptional international speakers. The forum also brings together a national network of family-focused organisers, scholars, leaders and individuals who are part of a movement for social change to bring New Zealand to a place where families are strengthened, marriage is honoured, and life is protected. The event will take place Friday 30th June at Due Drop Events Centre (formerly Vodafone Events Centre) 770 Great South Rd Manukau City. NOTE – Registrations have now closed for 2023.

**Note – This year we are also having a GALA CELEBRATION DINNER (spaces limited) – a sumptuous 3-course banquet dinner with guest speaker. This dinner will be held on the evening preceding the main NZ Forum on the Family. So why not attend both the Gala Dinner on Thursday evening, then the main Forum on Friday. Key speakers at this year’s Forum on the Family include:

  • John Anderson (Aus) – John spent 19 years from 1989 in the Australian Parliament and served as Deputy Prime Minister for six years between 1999 and 2005 under John Howard. John was made an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2011, and a Companion (AC) in 2022. TOPIC: Woke Culture
  • Walt Heyer (US) – Walt Heyer identified as transgender for 8 years. Now he has a passion to protect children from hormones and surgery and to help others who want to leave the transgender life. Walt has previously spoken at our Forum on the Family in 2018. TOPIC: Gender Ideology
  • Lila Rose (US) – Lila is the face of the millennial pro-life movement. At the age of 15, Lila founded and now serves as president of Live Action. Lila is the author of the recently- published Fighting for Life: Becoming a Force for Change in a Wounded World. [Lila will appear via satellite live from California] TOPIC: Abortion
  • Kevin Sabet (US) – Kevin Sabet PhD, serves as the President and CEO of SAM (Smart Approaches to Marijuana). He has worked in the Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations, having been the only drug policy staffer to have ever served as a political appointee in a Democrat and Republican administration. In 2013, he published his first book, Reefer Sanity: Seven Great Myths About Marijuana, and his most recent book is Smokescreen: What the Marijuana Industry Doesn’t Want You to Know (2021). TOPIC: Drug Policy
  • Deborah Acason (Aus) – Deborah is a two-time Olympian weightlifter, a five time Commonwealth Games representative and medallist, and a seven time World Championship representative, and the first women inducted into the Australian Weightlifting Federation Hall of Fame. Having experienced the unfairness of being forced to compete against a male (a New Zealander) in the female category at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, she has more recently been speaking on the topic of ‘transgender’ athletes.   • John Steenhof (Aus) – John is the Managing Director and principal lawyer at the Human Rights Law Alliance. Since commencing as
    a law firm in 2019, HRLA has provided legal advocacy and advice to people who are under attack for living out their faith and convictions in public. TOPIC: Religious Freedom

GALA CELEBRATION DINNER

This year we are also having a Gala Celebration Dinner (spaces limited) – a sumptuous 3-course banquet dinner with guest speaker. Thursday 29 June 6:30pm-9pm, at Due Drop Events Centre (formerly Vodafone Events Centre) 770 Great South Rd Manukau City.

The Gala Celebration Dinner is a unique dining event with three-course dinner, entertainment, guest speaker, and opportunity to ‘mix and mingle’ with others. The Forum 2023 conference speakers will also be in attendance. As this dinner will be held on the evening preceding the main NZ Forum on the Family, then why not attend both the Gala Dinner on Thursday evening and the main Forum on Friday.

Cancellation and other terms

Should you wish to cancel your registration (for either the Forum or Gala Dinner) at least 30 days before the commencement of the event, we’ll refund you in full minus a $20.00 admin fee. If you cancel within 20 days of the event, we’ll refund 50% of the purchase price. If you cancel within 7 days of the event, or do a no-show on the day of the event, you’ll be liable for the full purchase price. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the event, the liability of the organisers is limited to the return of paid fees. The organisers may alter the times, dates and speakers of this event by notice to you at any time. While we are sorry if this causes inconvenience, the organisers will not be liable for any loss, damages or sadness arising from such changes.
